Quality and Training The Company currently operate a quality system to the requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), also meeting the standard required from ISO 9002. The Company hold several company quality approvals from organisations such as Westland, Boeing (McDonnell Douglas) and M L Aviation. The Company also represent the industry on Ministry of Defence standard committees. The Company have recently invested in X-Ray fluorescence (XRF) coating thickness and analysis plant, to allow the highest degree of integrity in analysis and Quality Control. Salt spray testing is carried out on site to many standards, including ASTM B117. |

The Company are also seeking to train and improve the operators
skills in SPC techniques for inspection and process control, including the
FMEA programme, which is in its early stages, and will be introduced by
process, and by customer. Inspection and test for high quality type work will usually take place to a pre-agreed schedule. This may be called a quality plan or process control schedule. It will detail SPC techniques and monitor inspection procedures as well as workmanship standard. |
